✨This mala is made with 108 main beads, star cut strawberry quartz section beads, silver hematite spacer beads, pink opals, cracked crystal quartz, thuja wood, and a horse eye sea shell pendant!

✨“Mala” is Sanskrit for “garland,” and have been used for meditation and yoga practice for 100s of years. Many people also wear them as necklaces, or layered bracelets. The intention is to touch each bead in meditation, and make a affirmation with each bead. They are not a religious item, more intended for mediation. However, they are gorgeous when used as jewelry. Traditionally they are made with 108 main beads, sections beads, and a pendant (guru) bead. Mini malas are “pocket versions” of the large, full size mala. A mini mala has 36 beads, so if you meditate on the beads 3 times, you get 108. They work great as short necklaces, or layered bracelets when wrapped around the wrist a few times.

✨This mala is made with a horse eye sea shell pendant, cracked crystal quartz, pink opals, and star cut strawberry quartz section beads, then thuja wood, with silver hematite spacer beads. It is strung on silk cord, and is not stretchy. Reach out to me if you would like it made on stretch cord.

All the parts of the tree, such as the leaves, seeds, bark, and sap, have been used for medicine for 100s of years. Its said to heal infections, cold sores, pain, abdominal issues, and more. Its said to have antimicrobial, and antibacterial properties. Its oils have been used to detoxify, disinfect, aid in arthritis, boils, moles, and acne. It has been believed to be a sacred healing tree in many communities. There are literally over 200 uses for it. That is why I added thuja beads to this healing Mala.
