*This makes the perfect unique gift for any loved one. Especially as a “memorial Suncatcher”. Many people order these as memorial pieces to honor a loved one who’s passed away. The flower symbolizes the loved one who is no longer with us. The rainbow prisms cast delicate rainbow colors around the room when sunlight hits them, symbolizing the loved one surrounding them each day. If you want to order this for a grieving loved one let me know. I will wrap it special, and attach a note explaining the symbolism in general terms. It’s unique and delicate looking, but strong as long as you arent crushing it.

~~~~~Measurments~~~~~~
The ring measures about 3.5”, the flower measures about 4” across the Suncatcher from the top of the ring to the bottom of the last prism is about 5-5.5” long.

Please keep in mind I make the entire piece from scratch, even the ring. Therefore there might be slight differences in size. The flower will also be slightly different each time I make it, but I try to make it as similar as possible. I add about a foot of chain from the top of the ring to the clasp at the very top. I’m happy to give you a longer chain if desired. It has a small ring at the top to hang on a hook, but also comes with a clasp so you can wrap the chain around something and secure it. I found this is an easy solution rather than providing a hook that may not fit your mirror or curtain rod. You can hook the clasp anywhere in the chain, making the piece hang as long or short as you want!

~~~~How it’s made & what its made of~~~~
This piece is my custom designed Daffodil window suncatcher. I make the flower and ring with pure Copper wire. I start by forming each petal and leaf, and then fill the wire frame with a special UV epoxy. This makes each shape filled with clear epoxy resin, then I add either a custom mica color, or holographic rainbow flakes to the tips. (depending on the design) Colors are easy to add with mica powder and epoxy. This particular one was left clear and holographic color changing flakes were painted to the petals and leaves. Once they are done I wrap each piece together to form the flower and attach it to the ring. The same is done for the leaves. I then add the prisms and hanging chain and the suncatcher is complete.

*Hanging from the ring is gold/copper chain that connects to little prism crystals. They cast beautiful small rainbow prism colors when the sun hits them. Hanging from the top of the ring is another small prism. The entire suncatcher is held up by a thin chain that has a hook at the top to secure it around a rear view mirror or curtain rod. The flower frame is made with coated Jewelry Copper wire and coated with epoxy, it won’t patina over time. The thicker ring around the flower is bare copper wire. It may darken and patina over time. Natural patina takes time, it wont truly patina for years. Did you know that Copper can always be brightened up to its original color with steel wool or a file? Cool huh?

Im happy to make a custom flower (iris, lotus, etc) in a custom color. Please keep in mind that if you order a custom color it may not be the exact color you are picturing. I’ll probably reach out to you with questions about the exact color you are picturing. Many people can say “blue” and have a very different understanding of what hue “blue” is.

I have just about every color in mica, and I can create custom colors. I also have many holographic sparkles (like what is seen in the oictures) feel free to pic the “custom” color option and write the colors you are thinking about in the personalization section before you add to cart or check out. If you forget, it’s ok! You can also leave me a note. I can do solid colors, color fades, ombre colors, and a main color with the tips of the flower another color. Get creative!

~~~~Customization Details & Options~~~~
**Keep in mind I make each petal individually, forming each piece, then I assemble the flower and add epoxy to keep it all together. Each component is put together piece by piece. They take a good 4+ hours to make. They are Pure copper and special UV epoxy. Adding a color to the flower means after making each petal, I mix up a custom color with epoxy, and natural mica powder. I then paint each petal and dry them before forming the flower together. This creates a gorgeous custom flower like you’ve never seen before. But, the process takes time. This is why they are more expensive than the average sun catchers. It’s very unique! It almost looks like stained glass!

If you pick a custom color but do not leave a note, I will reach out to you. I can make colored flowers in many ways, and I can send you example pictures. The world is your oyster!
